The Code Bureau is a software studio based in Melton Mowbray, UK. For privacy questions about this website, contact hello@codebureau.app.

What we collect

If you use the contact form, we collect the information you choose to send us. That usually includes:

• your name
• email address
• company name, if provided
• project details, budget range and timeline notes you enter

We do not ask for payment card details through this website.

Why we use it

We use enquiry details to:

• respond to your message
• understand the work you’re asking about
• keep a record of the conversation while it’s useful to both sides

The lawful basis for this is legitimate interests in running and responding to business enquiries, and where relevant taking steps toward a contract at your request.

How enquiries are delivered

Contact form messages are sent by email to our studio inbox. Delivery is handled by our email provider so the message can reach us reliably. We do not sell enquiry data.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry emails and related correspondence for as long as needed to handle the conversation and run the business relationship that follows. If no project proceeds, we delete or archive stale enquiries in the ordinary course of inbox management.

Sharing

We share personal information only with services required to operate the website and email delivery, or where the law requires it. We do not use contact form submissions for advertising networks.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict use of your personal information, and to object to certain processing. To exercise those rights, email hello@codebureau.app.

If you are in the UK and unhappy with how a privacy request is handled, you can contact the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
